ATLANTA — April 11, 2001 — Nucleus Medical Art, a leading developer of custom medical illustrations, animations and interactive media for healthcare, announced today that it has entered into an ongoing licensing and development agreement with Healthwise, Incorporated. Healthwise provides consumer health information to 20 million families every year through online resources, printed self-care guides, and nurse call center software.

Under the agreement, Healthwise will add hundreds of educational medical illustrations from Nucleus's 160 gigabyte content library to its product line, including the popular Healthwise® Knowledgebase . The Healthwise Knowledgebase is a decision-focused online consumer health information tool licensed by nine of the top ten managed care companies in the U.S., as described in the November 2000 issue of Managed Healthcare. The terms of the agreement also allow Nucleus to provide custom illustrations, animations and programming at the request of Healthwise.
